Kuroshima Tofu Making Experience Tour

Kuroshima Tofu is the one made with Kuroshima’s traditional unique method.
Clear sea water is used instead of bittern to coagulate soy milk.
Kuroshima tofu is 4 times bigger than regular ones. A little hard, but it has a unique flavor of sea water and a smooth soy beans texture.
The 100-year old firewood furnace is used for this tofu making.

Chock presence of soy. Handmade from scratch in the kettle.

What you can experience in this tour

Enjoy the traditional Kuroshima tofu making experience.
You can taste fresh tofu on a bamboo basket and freshly-just-made warm raw tofu.
A piece of tofu can be taken away as a souvenir. (From the view point of hygiene, you can’t take it home from June to October)
